The Mustang series of ships are low-cost ships made by Consolidated Outland that are designed to compete with the RSIAurora series. They are fast, modular, and extremely light.
The Consolidated OutlandMustang Alpha is a sleek, stylish spacecraft that uses ultralight alloys to push power ratios to the limits, albeit sometimes unsafely as it is inspired by Consolidated Outland CEO Silas Koerner's cutting edge vision. And now, with the optional Cargo Carrier, you can have the Alpha's advantages without sacrificing carrying capacity.[1]
Classified as a touring & exploration ship, the Mustang Beta has an extended-range over the Mustang Alpha with a series of updates to appeal to cost-conscious explorers. The Beta ships with the hardened Tarsus Leaper jump engine as well as a small rear cabin with room for amenities and life support equipment.[2]
While it may not be able to go toe to toe with some of the military-specific ships, by reinforcing the Mustang's already strong hull construction with Consolidated Outland's own line of Cavalry Class Mass Reduction Armor, the Delta has a reduced cross-sectional signature that evens the playing field.[3]
The Mustang Gamma is the racer variant of the Mustang. It has a larger power-plant and a extra main engine which gives the ship smooth acceleration and power on demand.[4]
The Consolidated OutlandMustang Omega is the limited edition racing model sponsored by Accelerated Mass Design that also has one more engine and a larger powerplant. The paint job is designed by resident underground artist Sektor8 on the request of AMD.[5]
