Open to outsiders, Kо̄ri'lya has become a de-facto trading post where interested [[Xi'an]] can interact with [[Human]], [[Banu]] and [[Tevarin]] shipmasters.

The city was originally known as Corilla<ref name=":0" /> but this was later changed to the [[Standard Romanized Xi’an]] spelling of Kо̄ri'lya.
