Mark Hamill is mostly known as Luke Skywalker from ''Star Wars'', however besides other movies he is also an accomplished theater actor who spent time acting in Broadway, and has voiced various characters including for example the Joker in a number of DC Comics projects, the Hobgoblin in ''Spider-Man: The Animated Series,'' or Fire Lord Ozai in ''Avatar: The Last Airbender.'' He also voiced the english versions of Colonel Muska in Miyazaki ''Castle in the Sky'' and the Mayor of Pejite in ''Nausicaä''.

The first video game which Mark Hamill voiced was ''Gabriel Knight'', as detective Franklin Mosely. Mark Hamill first spent several months working on Squadron 42 in 2015. In 2023, Chris Roberts told Mark Hamill "we're ready to finish your part". Mark Hamill came back for about two and a half, three weeks to finish working on it. When Mark Hamill asked if he could talk about it, Chris Roberts said yes but don't talk about when it's coming out.<ref name=":0" />
