The 82nd Squadron (or Squadron 82) is a Starlifter unit of the United Empire of Earth Navy. It was the first active-duty unit of its kind. In March 2824, it participated in an offensive against an outlaw supercell in the Baker system. While the battle had been deemed a hazardous prospect, by deploying troops and an armoured column outlaw forces were overwhelmed with no loss of UEE personnel.[1]
Crusader Industries dedicated their 2951 Invictus Launch Week display to the Squadron.[1]
