Garrity Defense was a Human retailer of personal armor systems and flight wear. While the store offered a wide range of options, their primary demographic skews to individual civilian users rather than military or industrial entities. Garrity Defense storefronts are a favorite stop for explorers, athletes and daredevils, and are the de facto body armor provider for professional Sataball players and high-endurance racing teams.[1]
Development
Garrity Defense was introduced in Alpha 2.4.0 as a retail shop to purchase body armors and flight suits on Port Olisar in Stanton system.[2] The Garrity Defense on Port Olisar was removed per release of Star Citizen Alpha 3.20.0 on 2023-09-19, replacing Garrity Defense with the current armor shop found in Seraphim Station.[3]
