Hedeby Gunworks's Salvo Frag Pistol is a personal frag pistol, carrying 0,50x45 smart ammo. The weapon was implemented with Star Citizen Alpha 3.7.0.[1]
The Salvo can be used as both a normal pistol and a semi-shotgun. This last mode can be achieved by pulling the trigger for a longer duration. A freezing primer is then injected into the chamber, and when the trigger is released, the pin pulverizes the supercooled casing. This in turn discharges a spray of high-velocity fragments forward.[2]
