Terrence Akari was a Terran Senator that signed peace with the Xi’an Empire in 2789.^[1] On 2789-05-29, Senator Akari disclosed the independently signed accord and called for an emergency session of the Senate and ordered an immediate vote. The deal was narrowly approved. Due to popular demand and dwindling power, Imperator Messer XI was force to approve the accord.^[2]^[3]

In 2792, after the fall of the Messer regime, Akari was offered the office of Ambasador to the Xi’an Emprire but he refused to focus on rebuilding the UEE.^[2]
