The Aegis Avenger Titan Renegade is a special edition of the Avenger Titan. This Avenger Titan comes equipped with a specialized dogfighting focused loadout and a custom special edition livery honoring this iconic ship. It is an aggressive dogfighting ship with a loadout of ballistic and Gatling guns for quick, devastating firepower. For agile targets, four proximity missiles round out the weaponry to finish off fleeing foes.[1]

History
The Renegade was created as part of the Masters of Flight series in conjunction with the flight-sim Arena Commander, it pays tribute to famed pilot Danny Solomon for his notable work with the Advocacy to bring justice to Bremen.
Danny Solomon
Danny Solomon was a hard charging, rough Advocacy agent who brought justice to outlaws in the Bremen system. His aggressive attitude towards outlaws and his custom Avenger Titan inspired the current design for the Renegade.

Variants
- Avenger Titan: The light cargo variant of the Avenger. It trades the prisoner holding cells of the Avenger Stalker for increased cargo capacity.
- Avenger Stalker: The bounty hunting variant including prisoner cells in the cargo hold and a pair of EMP Suckerpunch Distortion Cannons to non-lethally shut down target ships.
- Avenger Warlock: The EMP warfare variant. It sacrifices all of its cargo space for an EMP generator in its trunk which can be used to shut down ship shields and components in a large area.
- Avenger Trainer: The UEE military trainer variant of the Avenger. The cockpit is modified into two seats for pilot training purposes.

Development
The concept of the ship is designed by Nathan Dearsley (Freelance Concept Artist).[2] In 2017-07, the Avenger series went through a cockpit rework accompanying the Item 2.0 system. Before Item 2.0, players are not able to access the cockpit through the canopy ladder as it is not possible to have multiple actions attached to the pilot seat. With the rework, players can access the pilot seat through both the interior door and the exterior ladder. The rework went live in Star Citizen Alpha 3.0.0.[3] In 2017-12, during the Holiday Special 2017, CIG announced that the Avenger series will undergo another rework to increase its size.[4] In 2018-06-30, with the release of Star Citizen Alpha 3.2.0, the reworked ship became Flight Ready.[5]
