The 8-SCU sack is a standardized^[1] collap`sible cargo container with a measure of 2.75 x 2.75 x 10.25 m^{[citation needed]} and a internal volume of 8 SCU. These sacks are a means to bundle mined ore. They are collapsible and detachable so the ships employing them can carry spares, giving them additional capacity.
