The Perseus is RSI's premiere blockade and patrol ship, capable of posing a serious threat to any sub-capital class opponent. Four massive Size-7 cannons provide unparalleled firepower against large targets, supported by two smaller remote turrets and a launch bay of twenty Size-5 torpedoes.

First constructed in the 2520s, RSI's newest version of the Perseus has been upgraded and redesigned for the modern era to intimidate and overwhelm. The Perseus' large battery of offensive weapons is supplemented by a large 50-SCU cargo bay that can carry a rover, comfortable crew quarters, and easy access to the turrets for dangerous situations
