A blueprint is a digital reproduction of a technical drawing that allows the crafting of items employing a fabricator.Once acquired they are permanently added into the players inventory[1].
Acquisition
Blueprints can be purchased, earned through mission rewards or reputation affinity and in loot crates[1].
Research and upgrade
Known blueprints can be upgraded through research employing a Research Databank, which will unlock better versions of the blueprint. The access to lower quality (and cost) blueprints of the same item is not lost[1].
