The 12th Squadron was one of the military units that fought during the Battle of Idris IV in the First Tevarin War.
It was assumed the squadron was destroyed by the planetary defenses of the Tevarin, but a recently found debris field in the Idris system suggests the unit escaped to the outskirts of the system. While regrouping and preparing a counterattack, the ships were destroyed. The exact events are not clear, but debris of a Tevarin Prowler were also discovered at the site.[1]
