- Early March, eight senators introduce the Governance Modernization Act which would move the capital to Prime, Terra and officially rename the Empire the Democratic Stellar Union (DSU).[1]
April
- 2973-04-30 - Mira Ngo's grandmother cast a historic vote for the Governance Modernization Act (GMA), which inevitably fell three votes short. The GMA would have moved the Empire's capital from Earth to Terra.[1][2]
July
- 2793-07-05 - The Perry Line Pact is signed by both Imperator Toi and Emperor Kray, officially bringing the cold war to an end by dividing the systems that made up the battleline between the two cultures.[3][4]
- The Hadrian system would be rapidly demilitarized with civilians once again permitted to access the system.[5]
- The Xi'an would be granted control of the Hadur system, cutting off humanity's access to it and its connected systems.[6]
- The Hadur system would be renamed the Yā'mon system.[7]
October
- 2973-10-10 - The first ever CitizenCon is held in New York, Earth by Imperator Toi.[8]
Major Events
- Imperator Toi met with Senator Leon asking him to help repair Humanity's interspecies relationships by accepting the position of Diplomatic Secretary. This set Senator Leon down the path of eventually creating The Ark.[9]
