Companies are a backbone of Star Citizen's economy. Anything from producing ship parts to delivering food supplies is done by a company somewhere in the Star Citizen universe, each one with its own history and backstory - from the centuries-old Quantum Drive manufacturer Tarsus Electronics to the recent establishment of Cubby Blast. Whenever a player is looking for a job, they can be certain to get an opportunity with one of the dozens established companies (usually the local TDD provides a list of currently open missions).
