GIO is the main stopping point for most people visiting Baker IV. There are a couple of stores and stops, repair services, Shubin security personnel and a bar where the miners go to hang out. This is also where [[Bernadine Clent]] a beam operator, operated.

GIO was the location for the [[2945]] [[Shubin Mine Rescue Challenge]], where miners came together and competed in different rescue challenges.
