Janus was the artificial intelligence core at the helm of the Artemis.

Janus is widely considered as the reason for the UEE, and humanity's, distrust of Artificial Intelligence and Androids. It is believed that Janus' decision to reroute the path of the Artemis was responsible for its disappearance.
