Issue 02-01: "The Cutting Edge"   is the first Jump Point release for 2014. This issue showcases updates on the Vanduul Scythe (last seen in Issue 01-04), and an in-depth look into Foundry 42 (now "Cloud Imperium Games Ltd."). Released on the 31st of January 2014, edited by David Ladyman.[1]

The cover is an homage to the Wing Commander I   box art.[2]
