Station warfare is a PvP activity in unclaimed systems that is planned as part of Release 1.0's feature-set. It ties in heavily with base raiding and Org gameplay.

In Nyx and Pyro, Orgs are able to assault and take control of node locations on Seal Corporation's abandoned Planetary Shield Network. Depositing resources at these locations and holding them earns Seal Tokens. At the end of each week Seal Tokens can be used to bid for access to Planetary Shields within a system that otherwise does not offer them. These grant temporary invulnerability to surface bases.

However there is limited coverage on the network and not enough tokens to go around. Only top Orgs will gain access to Planetary Shields for the following week. This gameplay offers the chance to become de-facto leaders of a star system.

  • Shield Base - On planetary surfaces, provides a low number of Seal Tokens
  • Shield Station - In planetary orbit, provides a medium number of Seal Tokens
  • Shield Relay - At Lagrange points, provides a large number of Seal Tokens
  • Shield Core - The network hub at the edge of the system, provides a very large number of Seal Tokens
