Jurisdictions are the boundaries of a faction's legal reach. If you perform an action considered a crime within such a jurisdiction, you may face a penalty - as of Alpha 3.7 this can mean a kill warrant, a fine in UEC or reduced privileges.
Definitions
Felonies
By UEE definition, felonies are arrest-able actions that are considered crimes anywhere within the UEE. By People's Alliance definition, they are considered the most serious of crimes.
Felony | Definition |

Assaulting Security Personnel | The attempted infliction of deadly harm to security personnel in the lawful discharge of their duties. |
Destruction of Vehicle | The destruction of a privately or publicly owned vehicle caused by a being who is not the owner through neglectful or intentional action. |
Evading Arrest | Intentionally attempting to elude or flee from security personnel attempting to lawfully arrest or detain them. |
Failure to Comply | Failure to comply with requests or commands of security personnel in the lawful discharge of their duties. |
Harboring a Fugitive | The harboring or concealment of any individual who is known to have, or can be reasonably suspected of, committing a criminal offence. |
Homicide | The infliction of mortal harm on another being, either intentionally or accidentally. |
Operating a Stolen Vehicle | The operation of, including being transported aboard, a vehicle they do not own nor have they been granted permission from the owner to operate. |
Resisting Arrest | The attempted infliction of deadly harm to security personnel attempting to lawfully arrest or detain them. |
Sabotage | The wilful destruction, severing, contamination, or disruption of vital imperial-defense materials or public safety utilities such as, but not limited to, communication networks (comm arrays, comm relays, comm drones etc), fuel infrastructure, power grids and life support systems. |
Trafficking of Class A Controlled Substance | Possessing significant quantities (in excess of 0.125 SCU) of materials that have been deemed a "Class A Controlled Substance" by the UEE and/or the local municipality with a clear intent to traffic, sell, or distribute said materials. |
Trafficking of Stolen Property | Possessing significant quantities (in excess of 1 SCU) of items that are known, or can be reasonably expected, to be stolen with a clear intent to traffic, sell, or distribute said stolen property. |
Trespassing | Wilfully entering and remaining on private or public property that they do not own nor have they been granted permission from the owner. |
Unauthorized Computer Access | The illegal accessing of a computer system, through either forceful intrusion, crypto-cracking or other means, by a being who is not the owner nor has been granted permission by the owner. |
Unauthorized Interdiction | The illegal usage of a non-destructive device to interfere with a privately or publicly owned vehicle's ability to function or travel, such as, but not limited to, Quantum Enforcement Devices. |
Misdemeanors
Misdemeanors are finable actions that require monetary restitution.
Misdemeanor | Definition |
---|---|
Parking Violation | Parking or idling in a designated hangar, garage, or landing zone without the authorisation of its owner or sanctioned traffic controller. |
Possession of Controlled Substance (Class A, B, or C) | Intentionally carrying or stowing inside a vehicle they are operating, a material that has been deemed a controlled substance by the UEE and/or the local municipality. Controlled substances are further divided into three classes: A, B, and C. |
Possession of Stolen Property | Intentionally carrying or stowing inside a vehicle they are operating, an item that is known, or can be reasonably suspected, to be stolen. |
Vehicular Collision | The collision of two or more vehicles attributed to the negligent operation of one of the involved vehicles by a being demonstrating a wilful or wanton disregard for safety. |
