Quick facts:CitizenCon 2024
CitizenCon 2954 (2024) was the annual Star Citizen expo which too place on the 19th and 20 October 2024 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, Manchester, United Kingdom. The venue theme was based on being on the hangar of the UEES Barbary, a RSI Bengal carrier. This was chosen because of the Squadron 42 game-play demo reveal which was shown at the end of the first day. There was also a near full size mock-up of a F7A Hornet mkII, as well as various scale models for items as small as single-seater ships to large space stations.[1]

4200 people came to CitizenCon, which adding staff and crew adds up to more than 5000 people.[3]

Trivia
- The convention center is themed after the Bengal Carrier UEES Barbary, with two halls modeled after hangar bays on the carrier.[4]
- A custom built F7A Hornet mkII docked in Hall B modeled after one of the hangar bays will remain in the city of Manchester as an art installation.[3]
- New Wakefield Street is temporarily closed on October 18 as players attend Bar Citizen events in the street's participating bars.[4]
