Rather than shoulder the continued expense of outsourcing, Hurston would create an internal security force to take over these duties. When Hurston acquired the rights to Stanton I in 2865, it was only natural for their own security personnel to take over the responsibility of ensuring the peace and safety of the planet. A common sight on the streets of Lorville, members of Hurston Security are an imposing presence able to quickly respond when the need arises.</blockquote>

Like all corporation-owned planets in the [[Stanton system]], Hurston has its own jurisdiction in which Hurston Security is responsible for law enforcement; this applies within [[Hurston]]'s gravitational sphere of influence and includes its four moons [[Arial]], [[Aberdeen]], [[Ita]] and [[Magda]].

Just like [[UEE Military]] and [[UEE Advocacy|Advocacy]] agents, local security personnel can require you to submit to identification scans to establish your identity, conduct searches of your person and vessel, and detain you with due cause. Always obey the directives of authorized security personnel.
