Oretani VI is a dwarf planet on a lonely orbit around the edge of the system.[1] Located on the very outskirts of the system, the planet has an orbit that takes thousands of days to complete.[2]
Oretani VI is largely dark red in color, caused by the presence of a hydrocarbon sludge on its surface formed from simple organic compounds long exposed to ultraviolet radiation. Methane ice is visible in the areas around impact craters[2].
