CitizenCon 2954 (2024) was the annual Star Citizen expo which too place on the 19th and 20 October 2024 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, Manchester, United Kingdom. The venue theme was based on being on the hangar of the UEES Barbary, a RSI Bengal carrier. This was chosen because of the Squadron 42 game-play demo reveal which was shown at the end of the first day. There was also a near full size mock-up of a F7A Hornet mkII, as well as various scale models for items as small as single-seater ships to large space stations.

	17:30	Squadron 42	This panel showcased the most recent advancements in gameplay, occurring during the prologue of the Squadron 42 single-player game. It was ultimately revealed that the release is scheduled for 2026. Following the game crashes experienced during the demonstration, a new Live Gameplay Reveal was published on YouTube subsequent to the event. This video was free from crashes and also did not exhibit the significant screen tearing that was prominently displayed during the live presentation.

Trivia

• The convention center is themed after the Bengal Carrier UEES Barbary, with two halls modeled after hangar bays on the carrier.
• A custom built F7A Hornet mkII docked in Hall B modeled after one of the hangar bays will remain in the city of Manchester as an art installation.
• New Wakefield Street is temporarily closed on October 18 as players attend Bar Citizen events in the street's participating bars.
• Event sponsors include Versa Studios, Spinningfields, Department, Enterprise City, tobii, VKB SIM, and SCAN.
