== Acquisition ==

The knife was revealed during [[CitizenCon 2948]] as part of a "digital goodies pack" backers could purchase on the [[Pledge Store]]. The knife, along with the [[CitizenCon 2948 Trophy]] were designed during the CitizenCon events by Cory Bamford and Olli Koskelainen<ref>[https://youtu.be/tPS7w0fxOFs CitizenCon 2948 - Panel: You Call That a Knife?]</ref>. It was later made available in the game as a [[Hangar Decoration]]{{RSI|url=spectrum/community/SC/forum/1/thread/citizencon-2948-digital-goodies-pack-1|text=Spectrum announcement about the knife's implementation}}. It wasn't until [[Star Citizen Alpha 3.8.0]] (released 2019-12-22), when melee combat would be introduced that the knife would also be usable as a personal weapon.
