Quick facts:ROC
The Greycat ROC (Remote Ore Collector) is a single-seat mining ground vehicle. It is designed to mine larger crystalline mineral nodes that are beyond the reach of a hand tool, but too small for the Prospector or MOLE. This single seat vehicle is small enough to be transported in ships such as the Cutlass Black, Nomad, Freelancer MAX, Mercury Star Runner, or Valkyrie, allowing it to be easily transported around the surfaces of planets and moons.

Development
The ROC was originally announced in CitizenCon 2019 under the provisional name Vehicle 1. It was said to allow mining, extend the inventory of the players, and fit in the most ships.[2] It was confirmed to be the ROC when Star Citizen Alpha 3.10.0 was deployed to the PTU[3] The ROC was the first ground mining vehicle developed in Star Citizen. After a lengthy PTU phase, 3.10 was deployed to the Live branch on 2020-08-05, and the ROC was officially revealed on the RSI website and put on sale for $55 USD.[1]
