The Mirai Razor is a racer developed for the 2947 Murray Cup. It features an advanced composite spaceframe, cutting edge fuel collections systems, minimal cross-section, sleek aerodynamic lines, and proprietary Xi'an influenced thruster design that puts pure speed ahead of everything else.[1][2]

Features

Speed
This vehicle is primarily engineered for high velocity, with a specific emphasis on competitive racing.
Proteus System
Proteus is an advanced fuel collection system with a matte black composite weave that captures hydrogen during flight through small apertures. Unlike the Razor's conventional intakes, Proteus increases the collection surface area for faster acceleration. Initially part of the Daedalus design, it became fully operational after recent advancements and Xi'an technology improved its efficiency.[3]
Weapons
While the Razor is a racer, it doesn't leave you defenseless with its pair of Size 2 gun hard-points and a pair of Size 1 missiles.

Lore

In 2833, Kori Desmon, who became the CEO of MISC, decided to try and expand MISC's ship manufacturing focus from heavy, industrial ships to lighter, more maneuverable ones. He sets his sights on the dream of a "MISC ship taking the Murray Cup" as the company's focus. The result was the predecessor of Razor, Daedalus.[2] In 2898, when the New Horizon Speedway opened on Green, the MISC racing team competed in the race with a Daedalus mkVIII, but they did not win the race.

A century later, MISC engineers decided to resurrect the project, incorporating modern design and Xi'an engine tech into the original hull plans. The Razor is developed in a MISC facility located in Shorvu, Rihlah under veteran ship engineer Lyr To-Ko. The ship is announced in 2946.[6] In 2947, Trevor Yuman as a part of MISC Racing Team, won the 2947 Murray Cup with a Razor.[7]
