The Ursa Fortuna is a special edition of the Ursa all-terrain rover, which has been developed by Robert Space Industries. This variant was specifically designed to commemorate the widely celebrated Stella Fortuna holiday and features a unique dark green color scheme. The Ursa, originating from a military vehicle design, demonstrates significant survivability and firepower suitable for low-intensity combat scenarios. Complementing its protective shield, the vehicle is equipped with a compact remote turret that, when deployed, provides an extensive range of fire. The internal cargo compartment is designed to transport a useful quantity of equipment and/or cargo. Alternatively, this space can be configured to seat up to four passengers, utilizing foldable seating arrangements. [1][2]

Features

All-Terrain
With a three axle, six wheels system, utilising Hastelin tires, the Ursa can tackle any environment.
Take it anywhere
Originally designed to fit in a Constellation Aquila, the rover’s compact frame also accommodates transport in a wide variety of larger ships like the Carrack.
Seating
The vehicle has drop down seating that can accommodate up to 4 people.
Cargo
If the seating is not used, the internal cargo grid can hold up to 2 SCU.
Weapons
Just in case you might need to defend yourself, the Ursa comes with a remote turret which can hold a pair of Size 1 guns.

Trivia

  • Ursa, derived from the Latin word for "bear," is often used in various contexts, particularly in astronomy and mythology. In the realm of astronomy, the term is most commonly associated with the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, which are Latin for "Great Bear" and "Little Bear," respectively. These constellations are prominent in the northern sky and have been recognized since ancient times. [4][5][6]
  • The Ursa Fortuna is only available to pledge for during the annual Stella Fortuna event. [2]
