The Storm is a light tank variant, within the Storm series of ground vehicles, which has been developed by Tumbril Land Systems. Initially conceived as a single-seat blitz tank for the Second Tevarin War, Tumbril has enhanced the original design, resulting in a vehicle that is faster, more robust, and more effective than its predecessors. Currently, the Storm serves as a light/scout tank, offering reconnaissance capabilities with light firepower while also supporting other vehicles, like its larger counterpart the Nova, on the battlefield.[1][2][3]

Features

Weapons
The Storm is equipped with a bespoke turret-mounted Size 3 'Reign-3' Repeater, designed by Hurston Dynamics, which has the capability to effectively destroy targets significantly larger than itself.[1]
Maneuverability
It employs a proprietary track system in combination with a robust power plant, enabling it to approach its targets with a speed that astonishes the adversary.[3]
Shield & Armor
A specialized shield generator and emitter, combined with tactical-grade armor, ensure the safety of operators while they are positioned behind the front lines.[2]
Component Access
Easily accessible components provide confidence in the event that repairs are needed due to damage.[3]
Efficient operation
The vehicle distinctive role as a single-seater on the battlefield allows its cockpit to employ a variety of innovative features, transforming it into an intuitive command center. This design prioritizes ultra-responsive controls, effectively minimizing the cumbersome sensation typically linked to operating a tank.[3]
Storage
In the event that all other options are exhausted, Storm operators are equipped with a contingency plan, facilitated by the practical and adaptable storage of personal weapons.[2]

Lore

During the Second Tevarin War, many non-military brands began to create "war machines" utilizing what they'd learned in the civilian market.[4] The Storm was introduced during this time, in the year 2953[4] and drew inspiration from the Cyclone.[5]

The much smaller size of the Storm gave it an advantage in the battlefield, coupled with its heavy firepower, enabling it to rapidly break through enemy lines and disable the Tevarin's anti-air defenses.[4]
