The Anvil Centurion is a ground vehicle specializing in short-range anti-air weaponry, employing a powerful quad-turret of energy cannons to bring down any airborne threat. It is built on the same Atlas Platform, like the Ballista and the Spartan.[1][2]

Features

Rotatable Turret and Gunner's Seat
The main gun turret can hold four size 4 guns and must be fired from the gunner seat in the rear, requiring either the driver to swap positions, or a dedicated gunner to track and fire on targets.
Defensive turret
A size-3 gun turret, which is controlled by the driver, can be used for fending off targets that get too close.
Armored hull
Tough and durable, the Spartan provides maximum protection to its occupants from both air and ground enemies.
Deployable Stabilizers
For a stable platform and to compensate for recoil, stabilizing legs must be deployed while stationary before firing.
Equipment Stowage
The Centurion features 1,000K μSCU internal storage, a 500K μSCU storage locker, and a dedicated gun rack.

Development

  • The vehicle was in an 'unannounced' state on the Roadmap for most of its development, until it suddenly appeared on the PTU branch of Alpha 3.17.2 on July 8. The PTU was in "Wave 1" phase of testing (meaning Concierge and Subscribers also had access). The vehicle was apparently being tested by Evocati members, who were the only ones who could spawn the vehicle. It is expected to go on sale when the patch is published to the LIVE branch later.
