Designed to lead the charge against capital ships and heavily armed flotillas, the Ares ION excels at spearheading a fleet of fighters and support ships. Its purpose-built Behring SF7E laser cannon accurately delivers high-powered shots to quickly disable the shields of gunships and, with the support of other Ares variants, efficiently incapacitate capital-class vessels.[1]

The bespoke SF7E Laser Cannon is designed for the long-range targeting of large and capital-class spacecraft. Its accurate laser projectiles deliver significant impact, effectively neutralizing the shields of adversarial vessels and rendering them susceptible to direct assaults from allied forces.[1]
