Luxury Crew Accommodation: Beautifully crafted contemporary furnishing provides absolute comfort, whether docked or millions of miles from civilization.
Defense: Contains a size 3 shield generator, a bespoke twin missile racks containing up to 16 size 2 & 16 size 1 missiles as well as two size 4 forward hard-points & 4 size 3 hard-points via a pair of rear remote turrets.
X1 Bike Bay: The front nose section contains vehicle bay designed to hold the Origin X1, which allow you to explore at a local level. Access is via a drop down platform.
UEE-Standard Docking Collar: Located on the Port-side of the ship this give you the ability to dock stations or other ships without exposure to the surrounding environment.
Airlock room: Thanks to this airlock, crew can access hostile environments either via the stepped platform or the side docking collar and not expose the rest of the ship.
Easy cargo access: Effortless access to the ships 42SCU of internal storage via a drop down platform.

Development

Prior to 400i's introduction, the ship was repeatedly teased by the leak Discord community Star Citizen Leaks since December 2020.^[2]^[3] On April Fools' Day 2021, Cloud Imperium teased the ship by introducing the invisible ship Origin 404, when the community was expecting the 400i reveal.^[4]^[5] After close to eight months of the initial leak, the 400i is officially revealed in CitizenCon 2951 on October 9th, 2021.^[6] It is scheduled to be released in Alpha 3.15.0.
