The Anvil Centurion is a ground vehicle specializing in short-range anti-air weaponry, employing a powerful quad-turret of energy cannons to bring down any airborne threat. It is built on the same Atlas platform, like the Ballista and the Spartan.[1]

The vehicle was in an 'unannounced' state on the Roadmap for most of its development, until it suddenly appeared on the PTU branch of Alpha 3.17.2 on July 8. The PTU was in "Wave 1" phase of testing (meaning Concierge and Subscribers also had access). The vehicle was apparently being tested by Evocati members, who were the only ones who could spawn the vehicle. It is expected to go on sale when the patch is published to the LIVE branch later.
