The Mercury Star Runner is a courier ship by Crusader Industries that is focused on quickly and discreetly delivering small payloads of goods or data. With features such as dedicated data storage computers and "smugglers' holds", the mercury made a name for itself delivering crucial information into the right hands.

Data Storage Computers: Built-in encryption protocols, data kill switches, and customizable security allows the Mercury to ensure that private information never falls into the wrong hands.
Scanning Station: The ship has a dedicated scanning station that allows for the collection of data on missions or for private resale.
Living Areas: The Star Runner can be a home away from home, thanks to its spacious crew quarters with beds, bathrooms, personal areas and storage. The ship also has a separate crew rest room with seating, kitchen and even a chess board table that holds a hidden secret. Light-switches are available in every room.
Cargo: The Mercury has the ability to store up to 114 SCU of cargo within its hold as well as 114,000K μSCU of internal stowage. With a drop-down rear ramp, it can also carry ground vehicles. Brave pilots can also store a Merlin ship.
Shielded Storage: Some of its holdings are within a stealthy, hidden set of compartments that can be used for discreet or sensitive cargo.
Weapons: With a pair of remotely manned turrets that are placed on top and below the ship, each holding a pair of Size 3 guns, a pilot-controlled turret at the front that hold a pair of Size 3 guns and racks that can hold two Size 3 and four Size 2 missiles, the Star Runner can defend itself when needed.
