The Cutter is a single-seat starter ship manufactured by Drake Interplanetary.^[1] Its tough, versatile and flexible frame can tackle multiple different roles and is designed to be user-friendly, making it ideal for fledgling pilots.

The Cutter was first introduced by Drake Interplanetary in 2920 and the most recent model debuted at the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo in 2952.^[2]

Features

Cargo/Stowage: With a 4 SCU cargo hold and up to 650K μSCU of stowage, it's ideal for light freight or mercantile missions.

Frame: This ship is designed to be flexible, versatile, tough and user friendly, making it the ideal starting vehicle for fledgling pilots.

Living quarters: A minimal yet comfortable living quarters let you take on those longer missions.

Weapons: The Cutter also has 2 Size 2 gun hardpoints as well as 2 Size 2 missile hardpoints, giving you the ability to defend yourself when needed.

The Cutter is first spotted publicly in the files of the Alpha 3.17.4 PTU build.^[1] Brochure material of the ship already circulated since October–November 2022. The ship is officially revealed on 2022-11-18, day 1 of the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo 2952.^[9]
