The DrakeIronclad Assault is a versatile combined-arms platform which excels in transporting heavy vehicles and infantry squads, complemented by formidable auxiliary turrets for direct combat support. Furthermore, equipped with a comprehensive garage facility capable of refueling, rearming, and manufacturing new components for ground vehicles, this self-sustaining behemoth is well-equipped to overcome any obstacles or adversaries encountered on the battlefield. Features
Command Module
The command module can be detached from the main hull and used as an independent ship. It serves as the ship's escape pod and may be re-attached to the ship.
Fortified ramp
This enables it to deploy heavy ground vehicles onto a battlefield without warning. With the capacity to transport up to four fully-armored assault vehicles, it exhibits exceptional swiftness and effectiveness in their deployment.
Weapons
The Assault variant is equipped with three quad turrets, which serve the purpose of delivering deadly air support and ensuring the safe clearance of landing zones. Additionally, it boasts an extra Size 3 turret that can be operated remotely, granting it an offensive advantage.
The Ironclad and Ironclad Assault were unveiled by Drake Interplanetary during Drake DefenseCon 2954, an event run by Drake as a tagalong to the Invictus Launch Week. The obvious aim was to eclipse the official convention[1].
