Other sitesThe Aegis Idris-K is an aftermarket kit for the Idris-P that features additional equipments tailored to dealing with the swarm threat of carrier-type ships. It's a set of parts, not a separate Idris variant.[1]
Compared to the Idris-P, the Idris-K kit has an additional size 10 laser beam, four point defense turrets that replace the remote turrets, and a missile turret that replacs a manned turret.[2] Both Idris-P and Idris-M can be use this aftermarket kit.[3] It can carry two medium fighters in its main hangar as standard complement, plus an Argo MPUV-1C in a dedicated bay.

The aftermarket Idris-K upgrade kit was original produced for the UEE government who were seeking an improved patrol or protection plan for the Idris-P utilized by the UEE patrol services.[2]
Development
