The Constellation Andromeda is a multi-person freighter manufactured by Roberts Space Industries (RSI). It is the base model of the Constellation series. It comes with a P-52 Merlin docked at the stern as a snub fighter.[1]
Features
- Multi-Functional: Capable of fulfilling a variety of roles including cargo hauling, personnel transport, and combat.
- Cargo: The Andromeda boasts an impressive 96 SCU cargo capacity with 96,000K µSCUs of internal stowage. The cargo hold is also capable of carrying a range of different ground vehicles.
- Emergency Cargo Dump: In the event of an emergency, the cargo doors can be opened in a way that allows for the quick jettison of volatile cargo.
- Weapons: With four Size 5 gun hard-points, two Size 2 manned gun turrets with two Size 2 weapons each, one Size 5 missile rack holding twenty four Size 2 missiles, and one Size 4 missile rack holding 28 Size 1 missiles, the Andromeda has more than enough firepower to deal with threats of any size.
- Snub fighter: Comes with the close-ranged snub fighter P-52 Merlin which has unique docking capability with the Andromeda.[2] It is also compatible with the P-72 Archimedes.[3]
